<br>Namun, hujan berintensitas tinggi setelah periode kering tetap menghasilkan limpasan signifikan <br>akibat menurunnya kapasitas infiltrasi tanah. This practice leads to soil compaction and pore blockage, resulting in low water-holding capacity and high susceptibility to erosion under different land uses. Furthermore, such compaction tends to reduce the availability of water and nutrients required by plant roots in the soil. Therefore, this study was conducted to assess the soil’s resistance to erosion by measuring the dispersion ratio across different land uses. The objective of this study was to determine the effect of different land uses on the dispersion ratio at PT Great Giant Pineapple.. The research was conducted from September 2023 to April 2024 at PT. Great Giant Food, Central Lampung. It was designed using a survey method with purposive sampling. The treatments included: A = Cassava (growth phase), B = Cassava (harvest phase), C = Pineapple ex-Cassava, D = Pineapple First Crop (PC), E = Pineapple Ratoon Crop (RC), F = Banana, G = Pineapple ex-Banana, and H = Bamboo (control). Observed variables included dispersion ratio, microaggregate distribution, and soil texture. Data were analyzed qualitatively</em> <em> with existing classification criteria. The findings showed that the cassava growth-phase land (A) had the lowest dispersion ratio at 27.86%, categorized as slightly dispersed, while the banana land (F) recorded the highest value at 50.12%, categorized as highly dispersed.</em></p>2026-08-31T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 Journal of Soil and Environmental Managementhttps://jsem.fp.unila.ac.id/index.php/web/article/view/21PERBANDINGAN LAJU INFILTRASI TANAH PADA LAHAN SINGKONG SAAT PANEN DAN NANAS RC DI PT GREAT GIANT PINEAPPLE, LAMPUNG TENGAH2026-07-20T06:54:38+00:00M. In the long term, this can reduce soil fertility, such as soil compaction and decreased soil ability to absorb water. This study compares soil infiltration rates in ratoon crop (RC) pineapple plantations and cassava plantations during harvest. This study was conducted at the PT. Great Giant Pineapple plantation, Central Lampung, and the Soil Science Laboratory of the University of Lampung from October to December 2023, using a survey method. Soil sampling was carried out using the purposive sampling method on cassava fields harvested at 12 months and ratoon crop (RC) pineapple fields at 5 months, by determining soil sample points diagonally at 3 points. Infiltration observations using a mini disk infiltrometer. The results showed that land with RC pineapple plantations and cassava land had the same texture, namely, sandy clay loam. The soil infiltration rate in cassava land during harvest was higher, which was 24%, compared to RC pineapple plantations. However, the difference in soil infiltration rate (Ks) between the two types of vegetation did not show a statistically significant effect. The soil infiltration value (Ks) in RC pineapple land was 0.75 cm/hour, while in cassava at harvest time it was 0.92 cm/hour. Both values are included in the category of “rather fast” soil infiltration rate.</em></p>2026-08-31T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 Journal of Soil and Environmental Managementhttps://jsem.fp.unila.ac.id/index.php/web/article/view/24PENGARUH RESIDU BIOCHAR DAN KOTORAN AYAM SETELAH APLIKASI SELAMA EMPAT MUSIM TANAM TERHADAP POPULASI DAN KEANEKARAGAMAN MESOFAUNA TANAH DI PERTANAMAN JAGUNG MANIS (Zea mays sacharrata Sturt)2026-07-20T07:10:35+00:00Farhan Alijuan[email protected]Syamsul Arif[email protected]Hery Novpriansyah[email protected]Dermiyati[email protected]Dedy Prasetyo[email protected]Liska Mutiara Septiana[email protected]<p>Dalam Pengaruh residu biochar dan kotoran ayam adalah pengaruh aplikasi tunggal atau kombinasi setelah beberapa musim tanam tanpa dilakukan aplikasi baru.
